I bought this from a fellow board member for another car that I've since sold. I've been keeping it around for a spare but I need to clear up space. It's in very good condition. No shaft play or smoking.

How would this turbo behave on a mostly stock motor with a stock convertor?

I think you may need to upgrade the torque converter to get the full potential from this turbo.

I have a Vigilante 3200 non/LU in the car now but was thinking of going back to stock. I'm assuming it would work well with this convertor?

It will work great with that converter. Why would you want to go back to stock?

Call me weird but I don't really care for the feel of a loose convertor. Maybe I just need to get used to it more....
