Ar63 What convertor Will spool this thing on the street.The car basically stock,except frmt ,inj ,dp.blah ,blah
 
I would say any quality converter with a stall speed of 3200-3500 works well.
 
I just went through this.
PT6776S with a .63 PTE turbine housing and a Coan 10" l/u 3000 at zero psi. It would barely spool it up, even with an RJC boost valve and properly ported wg hole. I agree, it needs a converter that will at least stall to 3400 at zero psi to really get it moving.

I had pt67 with 3600 stall 200-200 cam lost street manners now back to Te61 and 3400 stall.
 
I have had a PT 67 on my car for 4 years with a single disk Precision 3400 stall lockup convertor. The car spools fast and runs awesome on the street, in traffic with the AC on and at the track. I've owned my car since new and it's streetabilty seems better than ever!! Paul
 
I should be able to get you a PTC. PM if your interested. I have the correct set-up for the 67 ball bearing. I can go a little looser if needed. The guys are getting 3400 at 5# with my 10" lock up.
 
Dusty fixed me up with a PTC converter for my 6776bb(3200 10" L/U)

The car has insta spool to 25psi.:eek:

I have a set-up for that TBss also when you're ready. Otto's buddy put a 10" l/u in his head/cam TB a couple weeks ago. I haven't got track times but it should put him in the 11's.
