You need 3000-3200 to be happy IMO. Any less will be sluggish. And, I would not use it with a 12 restalled conv. Brian

That will work but it might not spool up as quickly as you would like for it to. I knew a guy who actually had that turbo and a stock converter. He ran it for over a year that way and never complained. If memory serves he was running 11.60's.
