For a mostly street driven car with the mods in my sig which would be the better converter for me, or should I stay with the stock D5. The exhaust housing is a Garrett 63. Thanks in advance.

My Pat's 12" 2800 is working fine with my combo. I would ask a few tranny guys what they would recommend. The Pro Torque seems to popular with a few vendors here.

i have a 10.5 pro-torque for sale with a kevlar clutch and a billet cover,its a 3200 stall.

We had a LOT of cars here with a Pat's restalled D5.. Works like a champ !! low to mid 11 STREET cars. Hell I even have one in my 92 Olds wagon/Buick Turbo !!

I think all the non billet lock ups are basically the same thing despite the different naming conventions.
In my daily driver I have a PTC 10 inch 3xxx stall in my car and my only regret is not getting the 9.5 inch.
It has had no problems in the 3-4 years I have had it.

The Pro Torque 12 " hi stall is the highest quality piece we have seen.We have opened many 12 " special GN converters and found them to not be furnace brazed,to not have updated clutch linings and to be poorly assembled and or balanced. The pro Torque converter utilizes a billet flanged drive hub, furnace brazed turbine and pump, quality lock up assembly, and many other techniques. This is a great piece. Most of these 12" converters will give 2400 to 2600 stall speed.

fwiw I had a PTC 10" 3200 NLU in the car and it worked great. Only reason Its coming out is I'm going to a 9.5" NLU.
