PTE plenum and throttle body question.

Is the power plate necessary with the PTE plenum?

How much improvement have you guys seen with a 70mm and PTE plenum over a stock throttle body/ plenum?

I have only taken the car to the track twice and it has already gone 10.37 on radials. I know it's got quite a bit more in it. That is with a CPT-66 on 27#'s of boost.

I'm not sure if any stock headed TTA has gone 9's, but I think mine will with some fine tuning.

I would not think it is esential. I have had that design and the Hemco. Both showed no change with the power plate.
