I was wondering if anybody had any input as to the differences between the PTS Billet 9/11 and the CK performace billet 9/11. At what point is it necessary to get a billet converter?

Any input would be much appreciated!!

they are both identical except for pricing.they are made for both companys by the same manufacturer.as tested by us the billet cover is only necessary if you are locking up the convertor at wot with over 500 horsepower.if not ,save your money and buy a regular 9/11

I am looking to upgrade turbo and components in the future, but does a CK performace 9/11 billet converter 3200 stall seem to be in the ball park for my combo (msd 50, te44, ect.)? I do lock the converter at the track, but I have no idea where I am at horsepower wise. Will I loose anything going with the billet converter if I am not at 500 hp yet?

the billet convertor will not be overkill in your application and will provide an additional safety margin.if you want maximum performance on the street i would choose a slightly higher stall speed.

I recently installed my new CK 9X11 3600 and couldn't be happier. WOW! What a difference!

My PT52 loves it. And, I drive mine everyday.

Something in the 3500 (flash stall) with the TE44 would be better? What would you recomend Chris?

I just installed a CK 9x11 billet 3400 stall yesterday. Chris recommended the 3400 for my TE-61. It is wet here so I didn't get to play with it much. However, I was able to build 10#'s on the foot brake with little effort. Half throttle had insta-boost. I was going to go with the 3200 but Chris said 3400. I believe he was right. Thanks Chris.

I have a 3200 9/11 with my combo and its prefect, i really wouldn't go much higher with only a 44, unless you plan on upgrading in the future. But even then a 60, 51-52 or 61 can be very livable on a 3200 as well.

maximum pants ****ting will be found with a 3400 rpm stall if you want maximum performance.im talking flash stall.

i need cam specs ,final drive ratio, intended usage, and maximum engine speed to be attained during shifts.

Damn. I use a 2800 stall 9/11 with my 44 and it's fine. Never even thought about going higher than that. How does the higher stall speed affect ET and MPH?

youd be surprised how much faster the car buids boost.as far as fuel economy, thats why its a lock up.ive seen up to .3 tenths in most situations.and just for those curious,we use 32oo on our stockers if the customer is looking for maximum performance.the performance increase is incredible to say the least .....even with a stock motor.
