PTS bottom feeder - what filter to use?

bought the setup used. I want to replace the filter. What filter do I need to buy?

Mine used a turbo 200 filter
Ask for a filter for a 80 regal 3 speed,
But they also came with 250-350 trans also
So bring it with you

A friend of mine made my bottom feed set up for a deep pan and we used a torquefite filter

Shallow uses a 76-78 200 metric trans
Deep one uses a 79-86 200c metric trans.
The early ones used Torqueflite filters.

What vehicles used those transmissions? You know how they are at some of these parts stores

Thanks Warp6. You took the words right out of my mouth.
You can find them in many 6cyl Chevy trucks, 78 g bodies and who knows what else. There is a difference in the filters for a shallow pan (2 /12") and the deep pan (4"). Take your filter to NAPA and they will be able to match it up for you. I would say one of the super market type parts places, but in the vast majority of cases they only want to look in the parts book and hand you a kit.
