SignUp Now!The dent and bend are not suppose to be there. The question is, "How much will this interfere with the pickup and flow?" Shouldn't be hard to cut out and splice in a new section of copper tubing, or replace with a new filter from PTS.
Mine has the same dent & bend also. It was like that new before being installed. I think it's there to make the filter sit level.
It DOES NOT restrict flow. It is there for a reason. Like the one gentleman said, it allows the filter to sit flat. It is fine, needs nothing, no splice, nothing. Install it and enjoy it. It WILL do the job.
You all have a great day and be safe out there.

Thanks Bruce. I didn't want to bug you on the phone, figured you'd see this sooner or later...
I am here to help you. Feel free to call or contact anytime. Leave message if you have to. I will ALWAYS get back to you. These days I am very busy but always will make the time to assist. At least my health is back. That is why I haven't been around much. But, hopefully, I am passed the health issue and can continue on.
