PTS shift kit install TV shim & spring question

Installing my PTS shift kit. I have installed the line bias valve spring and understand how the zinc retaining pins work. Question is for the TV shim and spring, how do I remove the retaining pin and plunger to install the parts?

There is a pin near the end of the plunger on the bottom of the valve body I tried to pull down on, but did not want to force. I also see another pin on the top/trans side of the valve body back toward the middle of the plunger route (I see the pins listed on the instruction sheet too). I thought maybe the plunger has to be pushed in or something to remove the pin, like the line bias pin, but was not sure and didn't want to break anything. Thanks

Yes, you have to pull pin out from worm casting side of vb. Then the valve should fall out. Careful not to loose the "pen spring" from end of valve. Reassemble as taken apart. Gold shim goes against plunger inside sleeve.

Thanks Bruce, I'll be working on it again tomorrow after work. That pin just seemed to be in there much tighter than the other two I removed.
