You guys were good enough to answer a couple of question the other day regarding alternative pumps for my turbo bike application where space is limited so I thought I would reciprocate by given you some feed back on what I've found in my research.

Apparently no one makes an in-line automotive fuel pump with water/alcohol compatable internals. I spoke with Bosch, Airtex and Kinsler Fuel injection and all stated that there is no such animal. Bosch uses S.S. parts in the pump section of the pump but not in the motor section which is cooled by the mixture being pumped. While they will likely last for a period it would not be long term solution. The tank mounted pumps for AFV's would work at least for alcohol but are priced about 4 times more than standard in-line pumps.
In looking for a smaller Surflo pump I ran accross one which may be of interest for your application. The standard pump that I understand your using is the 8000-543-236 with the following specs.
Price $56.99 @ Northern Tool
Rated flow of 1.02 GPM (3860cc/min) @ 60psi w/7.3 amp draw

The other one I ran accross is the 8000-541-236
Price $39.99 @ Northern Tool
Rated flow of .62 GPM (2346cc/min) @ 60psi w/3.8 amp draw

This pump is currently out of stock but expected in by 11/19. It is a little smaller than the 543 but the flow is still pretty good.

For what it's worth and thanks again for your help. Let me know if you ever need any info on a bike application.

How bout Walbro? And sure you cant do an in-tank setup..

Or contact Shureflow to see what the smallest diaphram pump they make.. maybe there's a smaller one.

I'll keep this post in mind while I do my bruising for stuff.
