Pushrods

Does anyone know the actual length of stock pushrods? I'm finding listings in catalogs for stock at two different lengths. I'm seeing either 8.468 or 8.693. I'm a bit confused here, please help.

I don't know the length of the stock pushrods. But i will recommend getting them from here in the link below thats where i got my custom pushrods from 4 years ago and have worked well without any problems and the price is good to.

older 3.8's and 4.1's have a deck height that's .025" taller than a 109 block. I want to say the shorter pushrods are for the shorter deck.


That being said I believe the hotair 3.8's used thin shim headgaskets and the 109 is .025" shorter to allow for thicker headgaskets.

If you're looking to buy pushrods I'd buy or borrow a length checker and find out exactly what you need. The correct answer might be neither of the above choices.
