I have a TA-51, bluetops, thdp,V4 and a Red100 chip, just curious what you think it will make for power? If anyone is interested in going the shop is performance specialties in Pottstown. I will be the only GN, but a few others are going that have big block Chevelles with nitrous flowing out the wazzoo.

TClassic, COME ON DOWN! We will be there about 10:30 am. I will be there and 3 or 5 other guys with Chevelles and maybe an LS1 Camaro that runs low 11's. We all go to the track together at Cecil County and one of the guys just put a new motor in over the winter and he wants to dial it in, so we all decided to do it. Should be fun. Look to see you there. The place is off High St.

How much boost you gonna run?? Race gas or street setup?? If your gonna run some good gas(110+ octaine), and 22-25lbs boost, shouldn't be a problem getting 400RWHP out of it.

I'll be running about 20psi.
Should I lock the conv on the dyno???

350hp/450tq

I have always heard lock it---if salvage says no----then i am prolly wrong.more input needed.

I guess if you have a good converter you can lock it. May cause some wheel spin when you do.

I didn't lock my D5 when I went to the dyno.

Well my numbers were so-so...
I was running 18 psi of boost and the graph started at about 3800 to 3900 rpm.
My HP was very flat from 3900 to 5400 rpm where I would let of and it was 333hp at he rear wheels.
My torque peaked at 4100 rpm and was 417 at the rear wheels.
The problem I found with my setup was that my A/F ratio at 810mv which I thought was good is not, my A/F is pig rich at 9.5 to 1, no wonder everyones eyes were watering:D anyway there is probably another 30~50 hp just in getting the A/F right...what do you think??????

Here is how I compared to the other cars there, the LS1 is a full trailered race setup!
The HP numbers are located under the persons name followed by the RPM at which it peaked. Torque column is to the right. As you can see my buzz'in 6-pack had them all in torque until the nitrous flowed! Also the dyno operator did not start recording until around 4000 rpm so my torque numbers should have been even higher at the lower rpm. Sounds like if I had some ported heads and a cam then maybe I could have even exceeded the nitrous runs????
