Just wanted to clarify a few things before i start bolting down the intake.

1) It says to install the to rubber seals dry. When i removed mine i remember a black RTV was used where the rubber seals go. Do i install dry as the instructions say.

2) Do I use any RTV to seal the intake to the block besides maybe where the two rubber seals go?

I put a dab of RTV in each corner. Some people put it around the water ports but I didn't and haven't had a problem.

I always first made sure it was perfectly clean and dry - of course, then just use sealer at the ends where the seal meets the gasket.

I run a neat little bead around the water passages. If water happens to leak in from this location, it's milkshake time in the crankcase. Worth the trouble to not have to do the job over again. ;)
