Anyone running QA1s on the rear care to share their shock settings. Also a brief tutorial on adjustment theory would be cool. Thanks !!

Dave Morgan's book "Doorslammers" is an excellent addition to most folks library.

Mine aren't adjustable, but even with the stock valving which is I believe 50/50 they're great.

QA1 shocks

Mine are single adjustable and I've had mine for 3 years. They work well, however, I'd like to have a higher resolution of adjustability. The measure of adjustments is directly related to how the car launches and corners (test and tune). Last night, I drove 140 miles round trip and ran a 11.535 @ 122. The car is more street than strip. Additionally, don't forget the spring as it is an integral part of the shock.

gmhtp oct 2004 issue just ran an article on the QA1 stocker star shocks for improving their 60ft times with the kirban gnx rear suspension in their turbo regal .
,for street they ran with all set at 5 , for track they set fronts at 1 and rears at 9

Wow !! 9 is really stiff. Thanks for the answer. I'll definitely check that article out.
