QA1 rear coil overs adjustment question...

I just had some QA1 rear coil overs installed on my car but I have a question on how to adjust the height of the car because right now, the rear is too low and the tires are very close to the wheel opening mouldings and sometimes rub.
My question is : if I tighten the adjustment "rings" on them to raise the rear, will it affect the ride or only the height?

Yeah I found out it's the height. I just adjusted them and now the car sits higher and I doubt that the tires will hit the body again. Raised it by about 1 1/4"….and "Pronto", sorry but I did not see your reply in time and went ahead and did the adjustments so unfortunately, I do not have any pics taken before adjusting them…
