I need to adjust this stuff because my TPS is at .36 at idle and my IAC is at 66 when idle. My car is running pretty rich and keeps throwing out a MAL 45. I'm guessing this is it because the o2, plugs, and wires where all changed within the last month.

1. Which do you do adjust first? I'm thinking the IAC.
2. Where is the screw to adjust the IAC? I am probably just blind and can't find it. I saw where it looks like i am missing a screw pretty close to it...here is a pic.

Yes i am a retard.

Could'nt get the image but yes I believe you do the IAC first.....make sure the car has been driven for a while and is warm.....The IAC is a screw usually covered with a gold plastic piece on the drivers side of the intake (upper plenum). Turn it very slowly to adjust shoot for 5-10 in park and ideally under thirty when you put it into drive.

Oh, and I gave up sharing my Buick woes with my wife when she told me the only "knock retard" is the one behind the wheel....

wait, so the iac isnt supposed to be between 20-25 all of the time, only in drive? is it really supposed to be between 5-10 in park?
