question about ATR double pump fuel pumps

question ? Im wanting to run both pumps same time, I can regulate fuel pressure with 1st pump up or down, with both pumps cant bring down pass 65lbs with vacuum line on. Looking for some suggestions, regulator worked fine with first pump THANKS

i believe thats why they refere to them as a staged double pumper. your only flooding the lines with both pumps going and the resturn line cant handle that much flow. there a good article on this in gnttype.org.

you need to up the return line size, and also need to have a regulator that can bypass a lot of fuel.

Easy solution- Just stage the 2nd one by running its relay control through a Hobbes switch
