Need some opinions from you guys. I found another T-Type with 61,000 miles on it with a stock motor that has never been apart. It has a TA49, V4, THDP, 37 pound injectors an all the normal mods. Car went 11.81. Has clean interior and decent paint no rust. Guy wants $8000 for it.
My car has 148,000 miles on it although it looks like it has 48,000 on it. My motor has about 8,000 miles on it and has all new parts in it. When I had it redone I put all new parts in it. Crank, rods, pistons, cam, steel center caps, rotating assembly is balanced but had no head work done. I'm running a TE60 with 50 pounders and a stock intercooler with a THDP. I haven't had it to the track yet but the engine builder said it should go high 11s the way it sits
Probably have about $12,000 in it and I want heads and an intercooler which is at least another $1200. My car has been repainted but needs the header painted (cracked) and the roof and bumper fillers redone.
I have not seen the other car yet but wanted some opinions before I went to look at it.
Want to be in the low 11s or extremely high 10s.
My question is would any of you guys sell my car to buy the other one? All opinions are welcome.
