question about DP and external gate

If I have a TE44 with adj. actuator and a stock dp and I buy a 3" dp for external gate and an ATR gate, is there going to be some modification I'll have to do to the turbo to make it work? I'm sick of trying to deal with controlling boost with this damn adj. acuator and boost controllers that leave me guessing.

I have that atr setup and really the only thing you need to do is port the exhaust housing to macth the downpipe, It's pretty easy to do.

The ATR set up worked fine controlling my PT70-1 P Trim.
