Ive never taken a taxi for more than a 5 min. ride and that usually costs around $15. How much do you taxi experts think it would be for an 80min/ 90mile ride? Im thinking probably an arm and a leg...

Depending on where you are it will cost a bunch. I think its between $0.10 and $0.20 per 1/10th of a mile depending where you are!!

I would definitely like to but I'll only be 20 so its tough. :( I think I might have found a place that will rent to me though, just need to convince everyone in the group that it would be worth it to rent.

There's a lot of private "hacks" out there. Find one and offer him a flat rate to take you where you need to go.

Doesn't Uhaul rent to anyone over 18? Not the best ride, but it may work:D

U-haul, eh? If I went that route I suppose I could just put an aerobed in the back and save on a hotel room too!

:p

Look into limosenes. My brother flys all over the country. Living in Ft Lauderdale, he sometimes flies back into miami and has to catch a ride back to ft laud. Instead of hopping in a yellow taxi, he finds a lincoln town car, not a stretch limo, its like $35-50 an hour. I think it cost him $40 to take the lincoln about 35 miles to home. It costs him $25 to take a taxi 12 miles to the lauderdale airport and would be close to $100 to take it to miami airport.

Still trying to figure out how to go from Orlando to the beach huh? Hitchhike! It's cheap, and you get to meet new people!
