question on bad crank sensor

i have a question on a bad crk sensor.i been looking through out the net 4 this part and prices range from $85 to 133. in caspers i found this adapter frm a 84/85 conv to 87. so the quest is this a good conv anything 2 b aware of, no problem in the future or just plug and play. thanx

i would do the conversion, they are easier to change, they are usually cheaper, and ive had good experience with the newer style on other cars.
