Question on removing valve covers

HI
I need to remove my valve covers and install new gaskets. It seems that the passenger side is a matter of removing the valve cover bolts
But the drivers side seems to have the fuel rail in the way

Question is, to get the valve covers off, what has to be removed ?

I remember buying new valve coves and having them clear-coated, I think I was able to move around the fuel lines without un-bolting them.

You have to remove the EGR valve thing (VC bolt close to the firewall) and loosen the wire harness etc but you will be able to clear the fuel lines but it's very very tight / close so will take you some time
