there is a plug on the back of the in take manifold. the one on my 85 gn fell out it is a threaded plug. i put it back in ok but what i want to know what it is for . i had oil all over the place if any body knows please let me know thank you

IF IT IS UNDER THE TURBO NEXT TO THE FIRE WALL IT SHOULD NOT BE PLUGED. IT SHOULD HAVE A VAC. PORT IN PLACE.THIS PORT HAS A LINE THAT GOES TO THE MAP SENSOR AND THAT GOES TO THE BOOST SEL. IT JEST HAS A TEE IN LINE RIGHT OFF THE PORT. THIS IS ALSO THE LINE YOU WOULD TEE INTO TO HOOK UP A BOOST GUAGE.

and this is also the hardest ****ing thing to put back on.. on the whole car.

Reconnecting this damn line when i accidentally pulled it off was nearly impossible. Putting my new downpipe in was easier than trying to fit my hands between the turbo and the firewall/heater hoses to get that **** back on. it was HORRIBLE.

have fun putting it back on
