quick question for gun experts

I have the responsibility of liquidating some of my ill father in-laws assets. Unfortunately, I know nothing about guns. I have a MOSSBERG 500 ATP 12 ga. shotgun that has never been fired. Can anyone tell me the approximate value of such a gun?

does it have a 24" barrel, smooth bore, rifle sights, recoil pad, sling swivels ?
in good shape i'd say between $175 to $200 bucks . if it's in mint comdition ( no scratches etc.) $ 225 to $ 250.

they are very good shotguns, county police used to use them. great for weapon for home protection. Hope this helps
