Racetronics hot wire quick question

I'm installing the fuel pump hot wire kit now. There are two little green straps on the connector that goes to the fuel tank connection. They have a loop on one end and two tabs on the other then. What are those for and where do they go? I did not receive any installation instructions and can't figure out those two green plastic straps.

in this picture, it's the two blue plastic things on the left that I have questions about.

Those are the locks kinda like a hood pen for the plug
