I purchased the Racetronix 8an,6an fuel lines which comes with a large "bowl type" Fram fuel filter housing. This is the same fuel filter housing which I had used on a carburated fox chassis car years ago. I went to Summit and saw the same fuel filter bowl without a Fram label and rated at 15psi max. Does someone have any experience with the Racetronix fuel line kit which did include this bowl. Will this fuel filter bowl handle 80 psi repeatedly. Just by design this bowl makes me nervous.

I have the fuel line kit from Racetronix and the Fram filter & housing is rated to 200 psi. Look up Fram HPG1 .

You are correct. Your answer made my day. I knew racetronixs did not do cheesy work. Where did you mount your filter asm? I assume in the same area as the OE. Those lines will allow you to go into the 10's on a single pump less alky.

Not installed yet ...hopefully this week....I believe stock location is where the new lines take it to .

just so you know the current kit that racetronix carries no longer includes a fram hpg1 filter, it comes with what appears to be the filter housing that summit and jegs carries for about 30 bucks and they install a wix filter inside rated for e85. im not certain which brand housing it is for sure but unless you have one of their early kits it defiantly does not include a hpg1

I got my Racetronix fuel line kit for Christmas 2013 this is what came in the box.:)
