Just finished installing my Racetronix Walbro 340 kit. I must say it is a very thorough and complete kit with the exception of the 4 pin connector being wired backwards. The red wire from the pump needs to go to the gray wire on the connector, and purple from the sender to purple out of the tank. The purple wire is the pin closest to the metal locking connector, I verified this with a continuity tester. If you follow the instuctions, you will wire it BACKWARDS. I paid a little more for this kit, because I wanted the best I could get. I see there is a post over a year old describing this very problem, and yet the instructions are still wrong. What say you Mr. Racetronix?

i also ran into this problem...good thing we were smart enough to spot it before it was too late. i wonder if the chinese instructions are backwards

grrr... i, being a dumbass, didn't test it out of the tank and had to drop the tank again after it didn't start to figure it out.

Sorry guys. I guess a few older manuals made their way out the door. :o

This only applies to our G77 kits. G75 is unaffected.

Note the the Viagra and good-buddy versions here.
What were the engineers thinking? ;)

I still think the racetronix fuel pump kit is the best product out there, the rest of the pump kits give you a little jumper harness. they replace all the important wiring.

and the Racetronix Hotwire kit is very well put together, they even include a Ground connection that clips on the lip of the fuel tank

Their attention to detail is second to none.
