My 86 is still sporting its original hoses. They look fine and are still pliable. Is there an age when they should be changed even if they look OK?

If you know they are the original hoses why take chances by leaving 30 year old hoses on there.

IMO they should have been replaced a long time ago. But thats just me, for the low cost of new ones why risk it,i would replace all of the hoses and the belt.

X2, not worth the risk of a blow out:D Been there, done that its no fun!

Thanks guys. My intention was to replace but I was just curious as to when others swap out.

ASAP. They get thin from the inside out. Take off the original, buy a replacement from Rock Auto and keep the original.
