Ok so I blew a radiator hose and want to replace both upper and lower. I cut the old hose short and put it back on. I'm racing this weekend and would like to prevent these 25 year old hoses from busting and embarrising me on the track. I cant find the upper anywhere in parts stores cause of age. i know they are a few online but need them by the friday the 23rd. My question is does anyone know any other hoses from any other cars that would fit. Because what i'm probaly going to end up doing is taking the hose off in the parking lot and bringing it in to find a match.

According to O'reillys you can use a 1 1/4 x 30" flex.

Or call Kirbans tomorrow morning, bite the bullet and pay for two day air and get a stock replacement for $45.

Rockauto carries them for $13-$15 bucks depending on the brand you prefer. Just 2 day them. Kirban carries the s-hose for the pump to intake hose.

Thanks for all the suggestions I can take my time now that the thermostat took a crap. Lets hope that's all it is. No race for me

I just bought mine from Autozone a couple of weeks ago for like 12 bucks a piece. They fit fine but I havent ran the car yet so I have no idea how they will hold up. They had to look them up for an 87 model though because 86 didn't have any listed.

Got my upper and lower radiator hoses at Advanced Auto last year, they had to order them and got them the next day. The quality was good and they fit like they should. Good luck, Kyle.
