I have an 87 buick regal limited with a 3.6 ltr non-turbo. It has been intermittently leaking from somewhere on the radiator after I have turned it off. It doesn't like instantly start leaking either, it takes a few minutes and then starts leaking. I replaced my radiator cap recently and I was wondering if that could have anything to do with it as well.

Thanks

It is the original radiator, and I put some liquid aluminum radiator stop leak stuff in it and it seemed to fix it. I couldn't find the leak but I'm guessing it was coming from the honeycomb looking part of the radiator.

Keep an eye on the temperature, that stuff likes to cause thermostats to stick.

You can't see where it's coming from? It probably has a small leak that pools up and drips, doubt it's leaking only when the car is off. You sure it's coming from the radiator?

Your radiator is on it's way out. After 26 years you are lucky if you are flowing at 50%. Any stoppage of the leak is sure to be temporary. Spend a hundred bucks on an F-body radiator and be done with it.
