RCA bought them out?? Radio Shack is based here in Ft.Worth, was part of the Tandy Corp back in the early 80's, remember the Tandy 1000 computer..also had a leather making goods corporation my aunt worked for her entire life.

Radio Shack has been closing stores for the last few years. They are on the way out like what happened to Circuit City 10 years ago and what is about to happen to Sears.

They are not what they used to be. I can't find anything there I need for five years now, so I do not even bother anymore.
