hello; My TB is out from it's semi sleep and I had to take it to work today. My DD is acting up and might need a master cylinder. Today is a rainy, drizzly day here in Mass. and the AC needs a charge so opening the windows a bit is needed but creates the rattling window problem that most TB get.
What's the latest and best way to fix it for the long term. There was a kit a vendor sold but I'm wondering if something else came along.
thanks

As far as I know, the only way was the kit Kirban's sold, they also have a book for about $20 that shows you how to eliminate window rattles. My GN has power windows, it rattles when I close the door with the window open. I have the kit just haven't had time to get to it.

A subject I know alittle about....unfortunately the "real fix" was being done at the GS Nats when Pete Serio also who became known as the window rattle guy would do the repairs and fix those windows....the book that is referred to earlier in this thread was written by him.

Its a tricky problem to tackle and we sell the kits that you need as certian parts are worn in your 25 plus year old doors.

One of the short coming by GM was the windows...

hello; I won't be going to the Nationals but where is Pete Serio home base?

Pete Serio retired several years ago from doing Buick door windows....he only did it for a few years. It was a lot of work doing it out in the field. He no longer does it. One reason he did the booklet we sell.

turn the radio up until it stops
hello; I do that already with the blower moters noise. The window being at ear level that just won't cut it but there's a sweet spot of the window level that works. Funny with the BM niose. The exhaust sound helps. Also I've been driving with no radio just because I like the sound of it.
