Hello all,

Just today I went to start the car after it has sat for a couple of weeks. Turn the knob on the alky to 8 and hit test. Light blinks rapidly from red to green. Note that this is at idle in park. Car does stumble as usual. In the past when it use to blink rapidly frm red to green but after a couple of hits of the test button it goes to green and all looks fine. Should I be concerned? Kit is about 2yrs old and the car is hardly driven. As far as I can see I do not see any leaks.

Thanks

I don't know much about his system but I'dcheck vvoltage at pump and check all grounds etc..

Thanks psycho6cyl. Went through the wiring a couple of times and from what I can see all looks ok. Multi meter died but I will pick up one tomorrow. Will check voltage. Maybe a lazy pump?

Looks like its a false alarm. :shy: Took the car out today and gave some fresh gas and a test. Drove it a little to get it up to temp, Hit the test and primed the alky system. Note that I have the knob set a little under 6. Did a mild launch to bring up the boost give or take around 12 to 15psi. Alky light red then green. Sure enough I was pretty happy. Gave it a little more boost. About 19psi and Alky led went green like normal. Scanmaster showed no knock. My boost is set to around 23psi but I did not want to push it today. I think the car just needed to be driven.

Since it flashes it means the pressure switch on the pump is bouncing. Not to be concerned as you have pressure. But probably a little less than use to be. As time goes by the pumps seals degrade. It is what it is with a chemical sitting inside a pump over an extended period of time.
