After playing with the other brand alky kit for so long I decided to bite the bullet and use the new kit from alkycontrol.com.
All I can say is WOW!!!
First run with the car pushing 22 psi blew the intercooler hose right off!
Second run 25psi pulls like a mofo!!
Third run hitting 27/28 psi .05 retard on scanmaster
All this on 93 oct. with a pt67 turbo.
Nuts I tell ya!

This might be the 10.99 alky test car.

Once again great kit razor you are the man!!

More to come after some tuning

Man thats wild.. You havent even dialed it in.

That 67 is a small shaft turbo.. its legal in the upcoming event.. 10.9 at 125 on dr's.. would be sweet :)

Oopps letting the cat out

Glad your having fun..

Single nozzle? I know Razor likes to sell the single kits, but I like the idea of two smaller nozzles. Razor, you run 2 nozzles, right?

I run a dual becuase of a situation with a previous systems flow volume. I wanted to never be out again. See if you can only deliver 75 PSI on an M15 nozzle, its not enough to do what I wanted the system to do. If you have a pump that can squeeze in excess of 125 PSI, then its a non-issue with a single.

Actually, I have only sold one other vehicle a dual nozzle kit since August last year. Its on a Syclone truck in Greece with a T76 turbo... really heavily modded. Every other car I have done, documented no need for the second nozzle. I really mean no need. If you want it.. what can I say.. i'll accomdate the request. On mine I used a "Y" from NOS and ran the dual lines. Wish I never did. Once the second hole is drilled.. no turning back. Actually going to a single on mine, and the second hole is getting an nitrous nozzle. Running alky for the fuel portion.

Again the nozzle issue is based of volume needed to saturate the air charge coming into the motor. If you can max out an M15 with my system.. it will be a first.. and at that point if so, then add the second nozzle. The NOS Y is 30.00, plus the nozzle, plus the hose and fittings. I wont do a brass block deal.

Sorry for discouraging additional items.. when more than likely not needed. Plus additional fitting pose additional places for leaks to spring up. Hence why I keep things simple and to the point.

Only plus I can see if one nozzle clogged, you would have the second working. But this is why I use an inline filter to assure the clog nozzle cant/wont happen.

I had the same results with my kit from Julio. I am so impressed with the results he is now building a kit for my wife's 03 Regal GS (Supercharged 3.8) so I can put a 3.0 and or 2.8 pulley on it.
The wife will really be kicking the vettes, stangs, and imports butts.

PS ask Julio what happened to his TSI when the 4-door grandpa car lined up next to him on 118th and US 19 after the BK cruise night.;)

Did you say that Razor is working on an alky kit for the GS? Hmmm.....:D  :D

Tell me more!!!!!!

Yup, nice kit

My ALKY kit for the Syclone arrived today! Kit looks real nice, but a lil more detailed than I originally thought. Probably be a couple of weeks before I get to install it. So Razor I'll be sending some emails your way in a couple of days!

Big Up to Julio (Razor)!

Yep as we speak. He is developing it right now and should have it finished in the next day or two. I can't wait to run the 2.8 thrasher pulley and crank up the alky. He has worked out the details on the parts and is now going to install tomorrow. He should have picts of it in the near future. I will let you know how it works. I am sure it will be every bit as good as the one on my T-Type!:D

That's great news. Keep me informed. Nothing wrong with have TWO alky-holics in the family. ;)

TaaaDahhh.. GS kit done.. what a slick setup. I'll have pixs up soon.

11 PSI no KR.. needs a smaller pulley.

Cheers

:D

As expected it works great.
Did a few test runs last night.
Without alky I we were seeing 5deg of KR.
With alky 0deg of KR.
I need to put some smaller pulleys on it and dial in the pump pressure, ramp and initial spray point.

The kit was installed to be stealthy, average Joe will never notice that it is there.
Man I feel sorry for the Mustang guys when they get spanked by a four door grandpa car, with their girlfriend sitting next to them laughing.

Nice!

I too am a fan of having a "grandma-mobile" :D

Larry,
It would have been fun if I had alky on my Spirit R/T :) I could have gone after even bigger fish than Fox Bodied cars and 4th gen F-Bodies :D
