Real Street Drags

Any V8 or V6 Buick people participating in this? Suppose to be a showdown between Houston TX and Chitown sometime this year. Looks like a lot of "race cars" just made streetable however.

TX will never come to Chitown.... I think a few guys were talking about coming aroumd May , but they have LS1's...

RSD's are a good time.

Mostly LS1 cars though.

Too bad they are on Thursdays, and I have to work early on Fridays. Hopefully one day that will change.

Looks like a good time.

However, it's funny that I never see anything that even remotely resembles those cars on the street.

Most of them may be plated and insured but I doubt many of them see any "street" time.

Yeah, that can open a can of worms!

To me, there is a BIG difference in a "streetcar" and one that's "streetable".
