Well since you asked....

1. You stated in your original post that you have Access to approx 4 DPs and then state they haven't been made yet. If you are having them made why would you only have 4 made? It stands to reason that the market for these is much larger than 4 customers so why only make 4? That just doesn't make any sense.

2. With the market being void of this product there is a demand for it so why would you need to take deposits? There is no doubt that there would be buyers lined up to purchase these. BUT if you are going to take depostits why not make the deposit large enough to cover the cost of the pipe in full (to you) and then have as many pipes made as you have deposits for, then you could ship the pipes when the buyers paid the balance (your profit)? Personally I would even make a few extra.

3. Your response to me could easily be read "Buy one or STFU". That should get everyone's attention since my reply wasn't to anything YOU posted. Fact is I am looking for one but you throw up to many flags for me. Usually when someone is trying to sell you something they don't act arrogantly nor are they rude to you. I'd much rather spend my money with Jack Cotton who can and has had his son make up to 4" DPs that clear TA headers on a car with heat and AC! If anyone saw Jr's car at the Nats you know how nice that DP was. So a 3.5" would be no problem for him.

4. My point is something smells fishy about this deal therefore I am sceptical. Caveat emptor - Let the buyer beware.

You'd see more sales if you removed that huge chip on your shoulder as it is blocking your sight.

On another note ,this is what the left over stock is w/THDP(THDP is out of business, this is left over inventory), all they do is find out that if for a "Q" or "P" trim-(I didn't want to have all "P" trims done & then someone needed one for a "Q" trim)-plus the reason for prepay deposits is to weed out the tire kickers & have committments to the many PM's & Emails(so whoever steps up to the plate gets one)

And I bet most people don't know that there is a difference for Q or P turbos on how the alignment of the puck(degree) is critical for performance

People who have dealt or talk to me know there's no fish or chips here!!

I have had several dealings with Fred and never had any problems. He is a stand up guy and good communicator. If you ask him to call, you will talk to him by the end of the day. I'm not going to pass judgment on people I don't know or have never even talked to, it is OK to be cautious. I would say if you are worried about a deal going sour use paypal. If you don't get your merchandise, file a claim as I have had to in the past with e-bay items and always had good result.

I Ordered Mine A While Back From Fred It Came In When He Said It Would And Was Exactly What He Described.fred Is A Stand Up Guy And From My Dealings With Him In The Past I Would Not Hesitate To Buy Anything From Him Agian If You Want One Get In Line If Not Don't ,he's Been Around A While And He's Not Going Anywhere!!! I have a 3" THDP with a PT61 DBB P-Trim Turbo. Would I beniffit from a 3.5" THDP made for a P-Trim? And whats the major dfference in the P-Trim and Q-Trim? Thanks!
