Really Stupid Question

This might sound ignorant, but does the O2 sensor screw into the downpipe or another location? Sorry for being stupid.

It is in the passenger side header just before the turbo. (OEM location)

thanks for the answer. I don't know why I thought it was located on the downpipe. Had a brain fart.
