Rear brake line cracked

While installing the rear stainless steel brake hose, I cracked the hard line off about a cm above the fitting. Doesn't look like there's enough room to get a flaring tool in there, is there a convenient spot to patch in a new piece of line back to the axle? It's either that, or a whole new line, which looks like a hassle, from what I've read.

that bend is hard to replicate and changing the line out from there to the prop valve can be a bit challenging but its doable , easier on a lift
you can cut it just past the fuel filter on the frame rail flare it there and and replace a section from there to the axle hose
