i need a replacement set please send your comments,checked auto zone, whats the difference between variable rate and standard, do i need to support the car on ramps or hang in the air to change the rear sway bar

variable rates are also sometimes called load springs. the top coils are spaced closer together. tend to raise the rear a little. I have them on mine. fender lip rides about 1-2" over the stock tire size, launches like a champ with an airbag in the pass rear spring. BEWARE, "standard" may be standard for a cushy-squishy run of the mill g-body.
hang the rear for the springs, don't stretch the brake hose too far. I think the bar will be easier to line up on ramps. either way, as long as the axle is level with the body the bar won't have any torsion on it.
