Rear end rebuild

I am looking into changing the rear end gears in my peg leg to a posi unit. Is it fairly difficult with a used set of gears and is the rear worth rebuild or better to get a whole used set up from someone?

For the labor involved, just get new stuff. New Eaton and new gears, new bearings/shim kit for the eaton as well. I bought used once, thought I was saving money, it lasted one trip to the track before it shattered the spider gears.

The rear end is a regular regal rear is there any difference other than the non posi?
