Rear End ?

Does anyone make a kit or know how to put an older rear from an A body under a G body? all info is helpful thanks!

Not heard of anyone doing that swap.Probably more trouble than it would be worth. Probably different width axle end to axle end.That would cause wheel fitment problems.If you're replaceing a 7.5 10 bolt why not find a 8.5 10 bolt from a G body.Should be plenty of 8.5 10 bolts around.A no hassle swap.You might get lucky and find one with the posi unit in it.If you need bigger then the 9 in fords are available new made to fit.I've probably been no help at all.

You can put it under the car with minor tweeking of the mounting ears on the outside. Some of the dirt track guys use the A body rears because they're in their hands. I've got one myself and will be doing it later. There are upper arms available to use the A body rear in a metric chasis also.
