This piece is bolted to the factory muffler, and they are the same left and right.

I have a few in stainless that I made a few years ago .. they look OEM but they don't rust like the factory ones .. not sure if that fits the bill or not ?

Not at all. It’s getting glass beaded primed and painted so any condition better than cut in half will pretty much do
