well finaly getting down to doing the tranny after almost another half yr gone buy,
i found that the thrust washer in this assembly was just that a plastic washer..

my two spareparts trannys have the thrust bearing wich i guess i will use in place..

also the gear on the output shaft can be wiggled on the shaft

is this normal, or suposed to be a nice press fit.

1 out of the 3 i have is tight, the one i just pulled jiggles, and another spare the gear is pushed past where the splines end and over the landing

any advice on this is appreciated,

though, i am kinda leaning towards the nice press fit being the choice

thanks
Chris P.

hi Mark, well i said press fit, i assume, it is tight enough that i cannot slide off the splines with my hands

think its cool??
Thanks
Chris P.

I think the technically correct term is "interferance fit" somewhere between snug and press. Either way you'll be fine with the snug one.

Either way, doesnt matter and neither one is "bad".
