I got mine fro under the hood of a 70's land vessel Cadillac. Even had the correct bend in them.

I think mine were the same price.

For real Earl?
As in - hood bracing?
I never , ever thought to look there.
If that's true - it took GM using their corporate parts bin to a whole new level didn't it! :D

Man - I gotta start looking at Caddy's more closely now too

I bought the 1/2'' conduit at Lowes and made my own braces. Easy to do and seemed to help a lot with stiffenng up the body along with the under hood braces and the joust bars/braces under the engine frame.

I also had 1'' boxed steel brackets made to bolt on to the ends of the frame rails to connect them and those seem to have made a difference also.

If you guys are looking for a cheap alternative...
I would grab a 24"x48" piece of sheet metal at your local hardware or auto parts store. There was only one bend in the GNX brace. You could bend it with a couple 2x4's and either bolt it or weld it in behind the rear seat. After I bought mine...I woulda done this instead. It will also act as a firewall if you ever add ALKY or a fuel cell in the trunk.

The firewall idea is very, very cool

Yeah, they went from the center of the firewall to the middle of the fenders. The factory put a bend in them to clean the breather.
