Rearend swap question

Hello I found a guy selling me a all stock 8.5 rearend for my El Camino. Well I know this is a Grand National and turbo regal forum, but I thought you guys know the most about the Grand National rearend's the most. Anywhoo I want to know what I will have to do to have them handle 550HP? I know I need a c clip eliminator, but other then that what else do I need?

Lots of guys here at or above 550hp on stock rear ends. Pretty common to upgrade to Moser axles (or equivalent), other than that they hold up fairly well. C-clips would definately be a plus.

You'll have to lengthen the driveshaft.
