I'm looking for some advice, my tranny is starting to fail there is a flare between second and third and when I loosen the TV cable it slides into 3rd.
Tranny has many many miles on it and I would like to keep the original tranny, if it ever is restored to stock the #s match.
So what should I have replaced, I found a good tranny tech to do a bench rebuild, are there any good kits avalible?
I don't race much its more of a summer ride so a stout street kit should be enough.
My nearst track is a ferrie ride and about 6 hours away.
(Mission Race Way)

I was talking to my tech he was saying I might need some addtional parts he is surprised I havent totaled this tranny yet. Minor mods are as follows presision turbo, 42 lb injectors matched chip, walpro pump and hot wire kit, 4 inch maf with integeral sensor and a maf translator.
I guess a rebuild kit and STEEL BILLET SHAFT FORWARD DRUM ?

Yes the billet drum is necessary at higher power levels as well. The calibrations required to keep the friction materials out of trouble put additional stress on the under engineered stock forward drum.If the tech is interested he can call in and we can advise him about the set up needed for your car.You wont find better pricing or quality anywhere else on the forward drum,we make them in house and pass the savings on to the customer.

Thanks alot Chris, where is your canadian retailer at?
I'm on the west coast Vancouver Island.
