I am looking to do a complete rebuild of the motor and trans. I want a low 10 sec performer. Also is there any place in the area that does good body work paint etc. plus tuning. Im am pretty new with buicks and this is my first so thats why i would need the help. Thanks guys

Also if you ever need a "no bull" transmission go to Len Freeman in LV. I haven't found a better trans guy then Len. A good guy and one hell of a trans builder. Trust me I've been to many trans guys w/ over 10k in the hole. Thanks again Len the 200 was unbelievable withstanding consecutive 20psi trans brake launches and now this 400 is just "as" awesome. Great Job!

Cool i have a cop friend in phoenix. So we can test it out after i get the work done without getting a ticket,

How is it driving with a 400. My car is a daily driver and i want a 10 sec car that is good for street driving

I wouldn't recommend a 400 until you're in the mid-high 9's. The drivability with the 400 is like having a car you can't drive. Freeways are out of the question. Local streets are great. What I'm trying to say is I really miss my 200. :p

Nicks built a bunch of fast GN's. He has it down to a science

Lens done transmissions for my race cars over the years. He also did my Dodge tranny. Pulls ~10k lbs of race stuff a few times a month, never missed a beat. 100% satisfied.

After going to a 400, I'd never go back! Wish I had done it sooner....

So a built 200 would be better than a 400 for maybe not daily driver but driven alot. Alot of highway driving. Also my sig has my mods, what do i need engine wish to hit mid to low 10s and how much would you guess that would run? Thanks for the advise guys also how much for a 200 trans built to handle those times?

Yes a 200 if you do a lot of highway driving. If not TH400 all the way.

Nick Micale for the motor, Len Freeman for the trans. Congrats on the GN
