I have seen two tenths cut out open with a hooker system.

On my 10-sec GN I ran through the mufflers all the time; the car seemed to like the backpressure. In fact, afer running slower through a dump pipe I took it off and put a gutted cat on instead. My transmission was the car's original 200R4 built by the aforementioned tranny guru Len; the rear end was stock with the OEM 3.42 gear. I never trailered the car to the track.
