I've been cleaning the garage, and I've got a set of injectors that I'd like to sell. These are 40 lb/hr red stripes. Numbers on the injector body are D1163AA on one side and 621030 on the other side. I bought these from Kenne-Bell back around '98. Total mileage on them is no more than 25k miles. I had them cleaned and flowed around 2004 by Caspers, drove them for 1 or 2k miles, then upgraded to my current set. These have been sitting in little plastic baggies ever since. Asking $130 for the set. I've got a matching chip laying around here somewhere that I'll give to the buyer if he needs one.

What kind of chip? I planned to have 42.5lb injectors, but these shouldnt be too far off. 93 Octane Street chip hopefully?

Definitely street chips, 92 octane (I've got 2 or 3 chips). I'll go look for them, I'm pretty sure I know where they are. These chips are not the latest technology, they would be from around 2003-2005 time frame. One was from Jay Carter, one was a bit of a homebrew that started with a file I got from Carl Ijames, and I think I had one other... I do remember that one of them crapped out however and I'm not sure which one it was. Despite being older they all did drive well, and I would be happy to send them all along. But I'm sure the latest from TurboTweak or someone else would run better still.

OK, I found my old red stripe chips. I have 3 - as previously mentioned, I have an old Jay Carter chip (circa '98, I got this one when I first bought these injectors), and I have a homebrew chip that was a little of me and a little of Carl Ijames (long long time mailing list and board member, and DIY chip guy). One of these two chips is dead and I'm not sure which one. But both ran pretty good.

The third chip I have, completely forgot about it, is an Extender chip. This is a rev E chip from 2003, it has such features as Open or Closed Loop idle, lean highway cruise, launch assist, programmable shift light, programmable full throttle torque converter lockup, and programmable spool fuel. Plus it reads higher air flows of course, like all the Extender chips. If you have a Translator and this chip seals the deal on someone buying my injectors, I'll let them you it. Otherwise I'll hang onto it and see if I can't get something for it separately. The other two I'm happy to send along with the injectors no matter what.
