Regal trans ?

I am looking at a 85 regal non turbo just for a parts car and just wondering if anyone knew if these cars had the 2004r trans like the turbo regals.

THEY SHARE THE SAME MECHANICAL FAMILY TREE .BUT NOT THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM,IE VBODY,GOVERNOR,BOOST VALVES AND SERVO.NOT GOOD FOR A PERFORMANCE REBUILD WITHOUT THE AFOREMENTIONED PARTS
